Our client, a well-established business within the food and catering industry, based on the outskirts of Cheltenham, has an exciting new opportunity for a Catering Assistant to join their kitchen team on an ongoing temporary basis, with shifts available throughout September, October, November and December.
The successful Catering Assistant should have:
A valid Level 2 Food Safety certificate, or be willing to obtain one
Previous experience within a kitchen, catering or food environment
A friendly, reliable and hardworking attitude
Good attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently
Own transport due to the limited public transport in the area
In this role, the Catering Assistant will be responsible for:
Heating and plating up simple food such as jacket potatoes, pasta bakes, fish and chips and salads
Displaying food ready for service and assisting with serving customers when required
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen
Cleaning kitchen equipment and surfaces, including loading the dishwasher and washing up
Supporting the wider kitchen team with general duties as required
Our client is offering the successful Catering Assistant £12.71 per hour, with weekly pay and ongoing temporary work with shifts available between 11am and 4pm, Monday to Friday, throughout September, October, November and December.
