Description:
Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant to join a friendly and hardworking team within a school in Blyth.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous catering experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in providing high standards of food service.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with the preparation and serving of food and beverages
Setting up dining areas ready for service
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen and dining areas
Washing up and operating kitchen cleaning equipment
Assisting with stock rotation and storage of deliveries
Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods
Following all food safety and health & safety proceduresRequirements
Previous experience in a catering, kitchen, school, care home, or similar food service environment is essential
A positive, reliable, and team-focused attitude
Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
Food Hygiene Level 2 Certificate required
Enhanced DBS Check requiredDon't have the required certifications? Blue Arrow can support successful candidates with obtaining an Enhanced DBS and Food Hygiene Level 2 certification where required.
