Description
Identify and evaluate growth opportunities through market, customer and category analysis.
Develop category strategies, growth roadmaps and commercially focused recommendations.
Translate complex data and industry trends into clear, actionable insights.
Partner with commercial teams to support customer engagement, strategic planning and business development activity.
Create compelling presentations and growth propositions for internal and external stakeholders.
Support innovation initiatives through market assessment, opportunity sizing and customer insight.
Monitor market, consumer and regulatory developments to inform business strategy.Profile
A successful Category Manager should have:
Strong background in Category Management within B2B FMCG manufacturing or consumer goods manufacturing.
Advanced analytical skills and confidence working with large data sets, including working knowledge of data sources such as Kantar, Nielsen, Mintel and Euromonitor.
A track record of turning insight into action, identifying growth opportunities and influencing commercial decisions.
Strong commercial acumen, passion and a natural interest in consumer goods and FMCG trends.
Full right to work in the UK, with no future requirement for sponsorship.
Ideally based in the Midlands, with ability to travel to UK sites as needed.Job Offer
