Description
Develop and implement category strategies to achieve cost savings and value for money.
Manage supplier relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with contracts.
Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and mitigate risks within the procurement and supply chain.
Lead tendering processes, including drafting, issuing, and evaluating proposals.
Ensure procurement activities align with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and meet their procurement needs.
Monitor and report on procurement performance against KPIs and objectives.
Support the development of procurement best practices across the organisation.Profile
A successful Interim Category Manager should have:
Proven experience managing end to end procurement.
Category management principles and procurement regulations, ideally with IT and FM.
Excellent analytical and negotiation skills to deliver cost savings and value.
Ability to manage supplier relationships and resolve complex issues effectively.
Experience in leading tendering processes and evaluating proposals.
Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
A relevant qualification in procurement or supply chain management is desirable.Job Offer
