The Company

Our client, Yamazaki Mazak, is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market-leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years.

We are currently recruiting for 2 Temporary Cast Paint Operatives to provide additional cover within the Cast Paint team. Jonathan Lee Workforce Solutions are the preferred supplier to Mazak.

Job Description

The Role

Preparing cast components for painting.
Painting components using the required paint application methods.
Cleaning and preparing surfaces prior to painting.
Inspecting finished components to ensure the required quality standards are met.
Following relevant health and safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Maintaining a clean and organised working area.
Supporting the wider production team as required.
Essential Criteria

Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
Some understanding or practical experience of paint, paint preperation or surface preparation.
Good attention to detail and a focus on quality.
Able to follow instructions and work safely.
Reliable and able to work as part of a team.
Desirable Criteria

Previous experience in industrial painting or paint spraying.
Experience working with castings or metal components.
Experience in powder coating, shot blasting, metal finishing or similar surface preparation processes.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.15am to 16.30pm
Overtime is paid at Time 1/3 first 2 hours then Time 1/2 thereafter each day. Saturday is Time 1/2 and Sunday Double Time.
