Carpentry Supervisor – High-End Fit-Out & Refurbishment
Location: London & Nationwide – Travel Required
Position: Temp to Perm
Salary: Excellent Package DOE + Accommodation + Expenses
Our client is a specialist contractor delivering high-end interior fit-out and refurbishment projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Carpentry Supervisor to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
The majority of projects are based in London, although travel to sites further afield may occasionally be required. Accommodation and travel expenses will be provided when working away.
The Role
You will supervise carpentry teams across prestigious hospitality, leisure and commercial projects, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to an exceptional standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise carpentry teams on high-end fit-out and refurbishment projects.
* Lead by example and maintain excellent standards of workmanship.
* Coordinate labour, materials and daily site activities.
* Work closely with Site and Project Managers to maintain programmes.
* Carry out quality checks and resolve installation issues.
* Ensure health & safety procedures are followed.
* Maintain professional relationships with clients and other trades.
* Remain hands-on and assist with carpentry works when required.
Requirements
* Strong background in high-end first and second fix carpentry.
* Previous supervisory or team-leading experience.
* Experience within fit-out, refurbishment or construction.
* Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Willingness to travel and work away when required.
Desirable: SSSTS, SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS.
