????‍♂️ Join Our Team as a Carpentry and Joinery Lecturer! ????‍♀️

As a Carpentry and Joinery Lecturer, your main responsibility will be to support students in progressing their careers, enhancing their employability, and fostering their personal development. You will have the opportunity to teach and assess level 1/2 Carpentry & Joinery to FE students or Apprentices studying on the Standards.

We are looking for individuals with a passion for innovation, who can bring fresh ideas and incorporate new technologies into the learning environment.

To be successful in this role, you should hold a minimum of a level 2 Carpentry & Joinery qualification. Having teaching qualifications or Assessor/IQA qualifications would be a significant advantage.

While previous experience in the classroom or workshops would be beneficial, it is not essential as we provide full training and support to our team members.

Let’s Teach The LET’s teach programme supports new members of teaching staff in terms of college systems and key teaching and learning areas including new staff lesson visits and postcard peeps. Each new member of staff has an allocated Lead Practitioner who works closely with them throughout the programme.

The LET’s Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal
