Description:

Emberstone Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Carpenter for an immediate start on a 4-week contract based in Cambridgeshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for 2nd fix carpentry tasks on a busy construction site, ensuring high standards of workmanship and adherence to health and safety regulations. The role involves working on internal finishing, door hanging, skirting, and architraves, with a focus on precision and efficiency. You will be expected to work a standard 8-hour day, including a one-hour lunch break, and contribute to a smooth workflow throughout the duration of the project.

Previous experience in 2nd fix carpentry

Blue CSCS card is preferred but not essential

Own tools required

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable and punctual

Good understanding of health and safety standards

Availability to commit to the full 4-week period

The role offers a competitive day rate of £220, with work expected to be completed over four weeks
