Morgan Jones is recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation seeking an experienced Carpenter to join its Estates team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for a secure, long-term position with a varied workload and opportunities to develop additional multi-trade skills.

Key Responsibilities
* Carry out carpentry repairs, installations and maintenance works.
* Repair and maintain building fabric, fixtures and fittings.
* Complete planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks.
* Undertake basic multi-trade duties including painting, decorating, glazing and minor plumbing works.
* Diagnose faults and identify appropriate repair solutions.
* Install specialist fixtures and safety-related building improvements.
* Maintain accurate records of completed work and material requirements.
* Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations.
* Work closely with estates colleagues, contractors and site staff.
* Escort contractors within secure working areas when required.
* Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota.
* Work at height and within confined areas where necessary.
What We're Looking For
* National Certificate (BTEC/ONC) or equal NVQ Level 2 with relevant post experience
* Previous experience within carpentry, maintenance or building services.
* Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication skills.
* A standard DBS is essential
* Flexible and reliable approach to work.
* Full UK Manual driving licence is essential
