Overview
We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. As a Joiner, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
Responsibilities
* Construct and install wooden structures, including frames, doors, windows, and furniture.
* Use hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out joinery tasks.
* Perform heavy lifting as required for the transportation and installation of materials.
* Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including electricians and masons, to ensure seamless project execution.
* Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing structures as needed.
* Follow blueprints, drawings, and specifications to complete projects accurately.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.
Requirements
* Proven experience in joinery or carpentry is essential.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
