Caretaker – Help Keep Our Communities Clean, Safe and Welcoming

What you’ll do
* Help create clean, safe, and welcoming environments for residents by delivering high-quality caretaking and cleaning services across communal indoor and outdoor spaces.
* Maintain exceptional cleanliness standards in line with Peabody's Gold Standard.
* Keep estates looking their best through litter picking, sweeping, waste management, and responding to emergency cleaning requirements.
* Carry out regular inspections of communal areas, identifying and reporting repairs, defects, and graffiti.
* Complete routine maintenance tasks, including lighting checks
* Build positive working relationships with residents, providing a friendly and professional first point of contact for caretaking-related enquiries.
* Follow Health & Safety, COSHH, and safe working procedures at all times to protect yourself, colleagues, residents, and visitors.
What You’ll Need
* Experience in cleaning, caretaking or facilities services.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* The ability to work independently and use your initiative.
* Good practical skills and attention to detail.
* Health & Safety awareness and knowledge of COSHH.
* The ability to carry out physical duties, including lifting bulky items and working outdoors in all weather conditions
