Description:

We are recruiting for a reliable and hardworking School Caretaker to join a welcoming, Ofsted-rated 'Good' school in the Liversedge area on a temporary basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean and well-presented school environment, helping to ensure that pupils and staff have the best possible surroundings in which to learn and work.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs around the school site.

Ensuring the school premises are safe, secure and well maintained.

Opening and locking up the school buildings when required.

Conducting routine health and safety checks.

Supporting with cleaning, site inspections and general upkeep.

Responding promptly to maintenance issues and assisting with the day-to-day running of the school site.

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous caretaking, maintenance or site management experience is desirable.

Experience working within a school or similar environment would be advantageous.

A good understanding of health and safety procedures.

A proactive, flexible and hands-on approach to work.

Reliable, trustworthy and able to work independently.

An enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one, is required.
