Care Practitioner (Part-Time)

Weekend shifts with the option to take on additional weekday hours.
Hourly rate: £14.75 to £15.25
We are looking for caring, reliable people to join our team as Care Practitioners and Senior Care Practitioners.
This is a rewarding role for someone who wants to make a difference in their local community. You do not need to have previous care experience, as full training and support will be provided. What matters most is that you are kind, dependable and willing to help people live safely, comfortably and with dignity in their own homes.
We have flexible roles available, so this could work well around family life, studies or other commitments. We will talk through your availability and see what works best.
What The Role Involves
As a Care Practitioner, you will support people in their own homes with day-to-day tasks. This may include:
* Personal care, including washing, dressing and continence support
* Carryring out basic health observations such as checking blood pressure
* Supporting with nutrition and hydration
* Medication administration
* Companionship and emotional support
* Light household tasks
Every client is different, so you will get to know the people you support and build real relationships over time.

Previous experience in a relevant care setting is preferred but not essential. A Care Certificate and/or Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care is also preferred but not essential.
