Registered Care Manager - Children Learning Disabilities
Are you a Registered Care Manager or a Deputy Manager, have a strong background in Childcare and looking to take that next step within your career?
Our client is a charity dedicated to providing support for adults and children with learning disabilities. With over 40 years of experience, they have become a trusted organisation in Hertfordshire, working with both local authorities and families directly.
Their mission is to empower individuals with learning disabilities to live their lives independently by providing tailored care and support through a wide range of services.
Basic Salary £48k - £52k depending on experience.
Hours Monday – Friday 09:00am – 5:00pm (1 weekend per month)
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Registered Manager located in Hertford.
As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company’s service within Children rest bite. This includes managing and leading a dedicated team of support staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, developing support plans, and maintaining effective communication with service users and their families.
You will also be responsible for implementing policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality of care and support for individuals with learning disabilities.
Qualifications
* Experience in a Managerial role within (Childcare)
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Strong Ofsted background
* Knowledge of regulatory standards and Ofsted compliance requirements
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
* Understanding of person-centred care and support
* Knowledge of learning disabilities and best practices in the field
* Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing needs and situations
* Relevant qualifications in health and social care or a related field
