Location: Griston, Norfolk
Salary: £65,000 per annum + bonus/PRP
Hours: Full-time, permanent
Role: Care Home Manager - Nursing Home

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Care Home Manager to lead a well-established nursing home in Griston, Norfolk.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care home leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care while also having the commercial awareness to manage the wider performance of the home.

About the Role

As Care Home Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate and high-quality care.

You will lead and develop the staff team, maintain strong regulatory standards and work closely with residents, families and external professionals. You will also have responsibility for the financial and commercial performance of the home, including maintaining strong occupancy levels.

You will be supported by an experienced Deputy Manager, Administrator, Hospitality and Housekeeping teams, alongside dedicated Operations and Central Support teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and motivate the home's staff team, creating a positive culture based on kindness, dignity and compassion.
Take overall responsibility for CQC compliance, ensuring all regulatory and quality standards are consistently maintained.
Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of person-centred care.
Manage budgets and monitor the financial performance of the home.
Drive occupancy through effective relationship building, networking and local marketing.
Build strong relationships with residents, relatives, professionals and other key stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to continually improve the quality of care and overall resident experience.
Support the development, training and performance of the wider team.
Ensure the home is well-led, organised and operating in line with company policies and procedures.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Care Home Manager with:

Previous experience managing a nursing or residential care home.
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance.
A proven track record of delivering high standards of care and working towards an Outstanding CQC rating.
Strong leadership and people-management skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Commercial awareness, including experience managing budgets and occupancy.
Experience with marketing and developing relationships within the local community.
A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
The ability to lead, motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team.NMC registration and relevant nursing experience would be desirable, but is not essential.
