Description:

Balfgor Health and social care are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Temporary Care Assistant to join our team in Lancashire. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide mobility support to help residents move around safely.
- Serve meals and help residents eat, if needed.
- Monitor and record residents' health conditions, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Follow care plans and ensure all care is provided in accordance with the residents' needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Assist with medication administration under supervision.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and policies.

Skills and Qualifications:
- 6 months experience as a care assistant
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS check.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Two professional references.
