Care Assistant job in Okehampton, Devon (EX20)

Pay: £14.25 to £16.35 per hour

Hours: Full time or part time with flexible shifts

What you will do

Provide essential personal care and mobility support within care home settings.

Help maintain comfort, safety and wellbeing at all times.

Work with healthcare professionals to deliver care that meets each person’s needs.

What you need

Right to work in the UK.

At least 6 months paid UK care experience in the last 3 years, including personal care and moving and handling.

Registration for applicants in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland such as SSSC, SCW or NISSC. This is not required in England.

Strong communication and people skills.

Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.

Experience using moving and handling equipment.
