PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT – PART TIME | LEICESTER
We are looking for a caring, reliable and experienced Personal Care Assistant to support an elderly individual living with dementia in their own home in Leicester.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care and companionship.
The role includes:
* Personal care and assistance with daily routines
* Supporting the individual with dignity, respect and patience
* Light housekeeping and maintaining a comfortable home environment
* Companionship and meaningful conversation
* Providing reassurance and support appropriate to someone living with dementia
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous relevant experience in a care or support role
* Experience supporting individuals with dementia is highly desirable
* A valid DBS check
* A caring, patient and compassionate approach
* Reliability and good communication skills
* Respect for privacy, dignity and independence
* The ability to work independently within a person's home
