Introduction:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care and Support Assistant, willing to travel on an E-Bike & who is enthusiastic about making a positive impact in the lives of others. As a Care and Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing essential support to individuals in need, with a focus on flexibility and willingness to go the extra mile.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proving driving ability and ensuring adherence to safety protocols while operating an electric bike.
* Utilizing previous experience in driving a motorbike or scooter to efficiently navigate through assigned routes.
* Providing personalized care and support to individuals in their homes or designated care facilities.
* Assisting with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
* Accompanying clients on outings or appointments as needed.
* Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being at all times.
* Demonstrating flexibility with work timings, including early starts and late finishes, to accommodate the needs of clients.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a similar caregiving role is preferred.
* Must have experience in driving a motorbike or scooter.
* Ability to provide evidence of driving ability and compliance with safety regulations.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Empathetic and compassionate approach towards providing care and support.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Must be willing to commute to Hersham-KT12 for early starts or late finishes.
