A leading brand in the supply and maintenance of material handling equipment across the UK are on the look out for a Car Body Tech / Painter to work in their Newton Aycliffe depot.

* Salary – upto £32k

Main Responsibilities of the Paint Technician:

* This person will be rubbing down, sanding, prepping and painting (2 colours) used trucks which we want to look as new, and will be targeted with 1 truck per day

* The hours are 8am – 4.30pm in the Workshop with overtime opportunities. Overtime currently includes Saturday morning 6am – 12pm as a minimum, with current staff able to work 6am – 8pm plus Saturday morning

Work experience requirements for the Paint Technician

* This person would need to have a strong work ethic and be relatively fit to be able to do the role.

* They must have experience with some form of painting although the role is open to someone someone fresh from apprentice through to later career.

* There is no fabrication work such as welding or repairs, although some panel beating experience could be handy (although non-essential)
