Key Responsibilities:

Deliver Excellence: Oversee the execution of Housing Capital Programme contracts to achieve Council objectives while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. Projects include retrofitting, compliance upgrades, and enhancing living conditions for residents.

Operational Efficiency: Implement and monitor performance targets for assigned Capital Programmes, managing multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to budgetary and timeline constraints.

Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with tenants, residents, and elected officials, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout project lifecycles.

Financial Management: Manage project budgets effectively, overseeing procurement activities to ensure cost-effective delivery of required works within budgetary constraints.

Strategic Planning: Contribute to business planning, policy development, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery standards.

Health and Safety: Prioritize the health and safety of residents and workers, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices throughout project execution.

Qualifications and Skills:

Qualifications: Possess a relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience in the construction sector. Additional certifications and memberships in professional bodies are desirable.

Knowledge: Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of construction practices, building contracts, health and safety regulations, and project management methodologies.

Working Conditions and Arrangements:

Working Conditions: Respond to emergencies and attend meetings with stakeholders as required, occasionally outside normal office hours.
