Canteen Assistant
£12.88 p/h
Monday to Thursday 12pm-6.30pm
Ongoing Temporary
The Role
To ensure Customers are served quickly and in a friendly manner.
Make sure that we are compliant in food safety/health and safety.
Make sure that the kitchen and FOH is always clean and tidy.
Assist in the kitchen e.g. frying fish / chips or doing food prep
Key Responsibilities
1. To ensure all patrons receive a high level of customer service.
2. To ensure canteen area is kept clear of obstruction in accordance with Health &
Safety regulations.
3. To maintain the standards FOH.
4. Records to be filled in for temperatures (Hot and Cold food and fridges etc).
5. Presentation of items FOH.
6. Help in kitchen
7. Cleaning
8. Cash handling/ locking up
9. Help with stock takes
10. Putting deliveries away
11. Be alert to any food issues and raise these with Chef/manager at once
12. Washing Up
13. Any other jobs as required
Previous Experience
Food Hygiene Cert
Great communication skills
Well organized
Experienced Catering Assistant
Customer-focused
Driving Licence
Willingness to undertake additional duties as required
