We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Campervan Conversion Technician / Fabricator in Wallington. The Campervan Conversion Technician / Fabricator will contribute to a diverse range of projects, from small upgrades to full custom builds, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Exposure to a variety of projects, from classic to modern campervansDuties of a Campervan Conversion Technician / Fabricator:

Building and maintaining campervans, encompassing mechanical, electrical, and interior fit-out tasks
Conducting engine conversions, brake system repairs, and general servicing
Fabricating and welding aluminium and steel components for bespoke campervan builds
Installing and maintaining 12V electrical systems, including wiring and electrical components
joinery and cabinetry work for custom interiors
Operating power tools and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
Ensuring all work adheres to high quality standards to produce durable conversions
Handling customer repair, upgrade, and maintenance work as requiredRequirements of a Campervan Conversion Technician / Fabricator:

Minimum of 2 years' relevant trade experience in vehicle conversions, mechanical repair, or fabrication
Proficient in using power tools and fabrication equipment; welding experience is advantageous
Knowledge of 12V electrical systems and vehicle mechanical tasks
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Versatile skill set with strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
Experience working with campervans, motorhomes, or VW conversions is preferred
