Description:
An opportunity has arisen for 2 CAD Technicians to join a growing team delivering MEP design solutions within the Rail and Plant sector. Working on a range of technically challenging infrastructure projects, you will play a key role in producing and maintaining high-quality engineering drawings and design documentation.
This position would suit individuals with around 2 years' experience who are looking to further develop their career within a specialist rail environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce and amend detailed CAD drawings for MEP rail and plant-related projects.
* Develop and maintain design information throughout project lifecycles.
* Work closely with engineers, designers and project teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of drawings.
* Ensure all drawings comply with client and industry standards.
* Assist in the management and organisation of project documentation.
Requirements
* Experience working as a CAD Technician within engineering, infrastructure, rail or MEP environments.
* Strong working knowledge of MicroStation.
* Experience using ProjectWise is essential.
* Understanding of MEP design principles.
* Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced project environment.
* Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
