Think Recruitment are supporting our client to recruit a CAD Technician / Technical Assistant to join their team.
They are a family run contractor specialising in shopfitting delivering projects nationally working with household name clients.
The CAD Technician / Technical Assistant will support the Technical Manager and project delivery staff to ensure high standards for their retail clients.
This is a chance to learn progress to a more senior role within the technical team.
About The Role
You will work closely and liaise with the Project Managers on all projects, helping to meet the client's needs and expectations.
Produce working drawings and designs; ensure all setting out works are to a high standard.
Prepare system drawings for internal and external use.
Distribute drawings within agreed time scales to the Client Team, using current company templates and procedures.
Maintain clean, tidy and organised office and files, keeping full records of all setting out and CAD works.
Office based role; working Monday - Friday 8.30-5.00
About The Candidate
Understanding and capability within joinery
Ability to create drawings
Auto CAD software experience is preferred but can be taught
Enthusiastic, self-starter with ability to prioritise
Displays strong leadership skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
PC literate
Commercially aware
Due to location you must have a driving licence and your own vehicle.
