CAD Technician – Mechanical / Process

We are looking for an experienced **CAD Technician** to support the production and development of mechanical and process drawings across industrial / water-related projects.

The role

You will be responsible for producing, updating and amending technical drawings including:

* P&IDs and process schematics

* Mechanical layouts

* Pipework and piping drawings

* Pump and equipment layouts

* General AutoCAD drawings

* Drawing updates from engineering and site information

What we are looking for

* Strong **AutoCAD** experience

* Previous experience producing **P&IDs, schematics or mechanical/process drawings**

* Good understanding of **pipework, pumps and mechanical equipment**

* Experience within **water, wastewater, utilities, industrial or process environments**

* Revit experience would be beneficial but is not essential

* Background as a **CAD Technician, CAD Draughtsman, Mechanical Draughtsman or CAD Designer**

This would suit someone who is confident taking engineering information and turning it into accurate, clear technical drawings.
