Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Design Engineer role located in Suckley, Worcestershire. The Design Engineer will be responsible for collaborating with the team to design and develop models & drawings for various projects. Some site work will be required. Work hours are Monday - Thursday 8 am - 4.30 pm and Friday 8 am - 1 pm.
The candidate must be able to commute to Suckley, Worcestershire.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings using CAD software
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and specifications
- Assist in the design and build process by providing accurate and precise drawings
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from team members or clients
- Ensure that all drawings are in compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Maintain organized files and documentation of all drawings
- Liaising & building relationships with suppliers to get the best price on materials
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CAD Technician or similar role
- Proficient in using SolidWorks Software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, clients and suppliers.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to meet project deadlines
Rates of pay are dependant on experience.
