CAD Technician

* West Yorkshire

* Salary: £30,000–£40,000 DOE

* Monday–Friday | Permanent

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced CAD Technician to join a well-established business in West Yorkshire.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong AutoCAD experience who is looking to develop their career within a technical and engineering environment.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for producing accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings, supporting projects from design through to installation.

Key responsibilities include:

* Producing detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD

* Creating general arrangement, fabrication and installation drawings

* Developing layouts and pipework routes

* Updating drawings following design changes and site information

* Working closely with engineers, project teams, suppliers and other stakeholders

About You

* We’re looking for someone with previous experience in a CAD Technician, Mechanical Design or similar role.

* Experience within HVAC, M&E, mechanical engineering or building services would be advantageous, but isn’t essential.

* AutoCAD experience is essential, while knowledge of Revit would be desirable.
