Project Locations: Northwest & West Yorkshire (Majority in Manchester)

Office Location: Stockport

Salary: £30k - £40k (experience depending)

Start: ASAP (July)

Shift Pattern/Hours: Mon – Fri, 8am – 5pm

My client is a main Design & Build contractor based in Manchester that has rapidly grown over the last few years to offer a mixture of services to their clients including Fitouts, Refurbs, Structural extensions & Small Newbuilds.

They specialise in small/medium design & build projects across the Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare & Education sectors up to £10m.

Overview:

They are currently looking for a CAD Technician with at least 2-3 years’ experience working for a construction company. You will play an instrumental role in creating technical drawings and models for Fitout, Refurb & extension projects within the commercial, Industrial, Healthcare & Education sectors. In your role you will work closely with the project managers, estimators and supplier network to produce drawings.

Responsibilities:

Working on a range of fit out and refurb projects.

Liaising regularly with both clients and the internal team to gain a full understanding of the project brief.

Producing 2D and 3D AutoCAD designs and developing concept ideas into detail drawings for pricing.

Collaborate with project teams and attend meetings as required.

Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, providing support and resolving queries.

Must Have:

Experience with AutoCAD & Adobe InDesign

A Technical background of how things are made and put together.

Highly organized with good attention to detail

Excellent communication skills both written and verbally

Structured Career History

Ability to travel when needed to sites across the Northwest

Ability to reach & work from the Stockport Office
