CAD Technician
Following a recent internal promotion, our client based in the Widnes area is looking for a CAD Technician, who will be SMW biased with some experience in the SMW environment.
CAD Technician Specification:
Must have a strong knowledge of sheet metal processes/assemblies, creating profiles, ideally with experience of tooling and nesting for a turret punch.
Radan experience preferred but experience with any 2D drawing package for part profiling would be ideal.
3D experience, ideally in Solidworks or Inventor (creating multi-part sheet metal assemblies geared towards best process manufacturing).
Ability to create clear and accurate 2D drawings from 3D models (Essential)
Attention to detail, organisation and time management are a must.
Must be confident of taking projects from start to finish, at times working alone whilst also utilising the knowledge of other employees from all levels of the company.
25 days holiday per calendar year plus statutory Bank Holidays.
Mon -Thurs 7.30 am – 4.30 pm, Fri 7.30 -12.00 noon (38.5 Hrs).
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
Essential: SMW biased with some experience in the SMW environment is a must.
The CAD Technician role would suit a post grad or a SMW who has moved up to a CAD role.
