Description:
We are recruiting for a CAD Technician to join an established Manufacturing business based in the Dudley area. The CAD Technician will work alongside the Technical Manager and will have a good working knowledge of CAD and the ability to read drawings.
As the CAD Technician you will be required too :
* Re engineer existing designs
* Work to requirements within budget
* Develop prototypes where necessary
* Produce designs that meet product requirements (Radan)
* Put together detailed customer drawings, assembly drawings and bills of materials
* Liaise between the production and sales departments
* Keep documents up to date
Requirements:
* A knowledge of sheet metal process
* Experience of tooling and nesting
* Knowledge of Radan/AutoCAD
* Knowledge of SolidWorks
* Able to read Engineering drawings
* Organisational and planning skills
