Job Description: CAD Engineer/Electrical Engineer
Location: Maulden, Bedfordshire - Onsite
Employment Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5 pm)
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Parkside Recruitment are seeking a skilled CAD Technician with Electrical Experience or an Electrical Engineer to join our team.
This office-based role involves producing detailed working drawings and schematics for various electrical systems, ensuring coordination with architectural plans and client expectations.
About:
Our client an established electrical and mechanical contracting company with over 60 years of experience.
They work with some of the UK's largest developers, focusing on new build installations in London and the Home Counties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review and amend electrical consultants' drawings to create accurate working drawings for site use.
* Produce flat lighting layouts, considering factors such as ventilation runs and sprinkler designs.
* Develop schematics for various electrical systems, including Low Voltage, Access Control, AOV, and BT.
* Liaise directly with architects to ensure electrical designs align with client requirements and project specifications.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience as a CAD Technician or Electrical Engineer, particularly in new build installations.
* Strong proficiency in producing detailed electrical schematics and working drawings.
* Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with architects and other stakeholders.
* Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
