An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced CAD Designer with skills in both 2D and 3D to join our client in the Maidstone area who are a leading environmental services company offering a range of b2b services including liquid waste disposal, equipment for hire and treatment systems.

They are seeking a skilled CAD Engineer with extensive knowledge of Autodesk Inventor to join their dynamic team who will design, develop, and engineer high-quality models of equipment, pipework and access solutions, both 2D and 3D.

Working as a CAD Engineer for this growing business, your day-to-day duties will include:

Creating 2D and 3D drawings and models of equipment, pipework and access solutions

Working from supplier drawings in order to create 3D models using industry standard component specifications.

Extensive document and record management.

Keep to deadlines and department KPIs, often working at pace to tight deadlines.

Working collaboratively as part of a team, including attending team meetings and problem solving, with potential to be client facing on occasion to discuss design briefs.

To be considered for this CAD Designer position, you will have:

Excellent working knowledge and experience using Autodesk Inventor, CAD and Vault

Some solid working experience in a similar role within a relevant sector (Engineering, manufacturing, civil engineering).

The ability to communicate professionally both in writing and verbally (good standard of English essential)

A high attention to detail and a dynamic approach.

A solution focused mentality with the ability to think creatively to solve problems.

The ability to use MS Office and to pick up other systems with ease.

A full UK driving licence (this is essential, please do not apply if you do not drive)
