Prince have a great opportunity available for a CAD Designer to join one of our well-established clients in Telford. They are a small business with a fantastic product range and team of people, who are looking for a new permanent member of staff to join the product development team to assist with new product designs and product improvement. You will be working alongside a dedicated team of designers onsite where you will have the opportunity to create and improve the company product range.
The CAD Designer will be responsible for:
* Creating 3D CAD designs for new product development
* Supporting with the improvement of existing products
* Creating new product specifications
* Communicating with other departments on product briefs
* Liaising with manufacturers and suppliers on product briefs and improvements
* Assisting with new and initial concept designs and product development through to manufacture and delivery of stock
Skills and Experience required:
* Strong 3D CAD knowledge and experience will be essential
* Experience using Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks would be advantageous
* Knowledge of engineering principles and manufacturing techniques would be beneficial
* This role would suit a candidate who has previously worked as a CAD Technician / CAD Designer / 3D CAD Designer / 3D CAD Technician / Junior CAD Designer / Junior CAD Engineer / Junior CAD Technician / Graduate Designer / Graduate CAD Designer / Graduate CAD Engineer
