CAD Designer (Layouts/ Machinery)

£32,000 - £42,000 + Full Training + Career Progression + Bonus + Holidays + Early Finish Fridays + Pay Reviews

Office/Factory based, commutable from Cirencester, Swindon, Chippenham, Malmesbury, Stroud and surrounding areas

Are you a self-starting CAD Designer, Design Engineer or Project Engineer from a manufacturing, construction, building interface or engineering background who is looking to join an industry pioneering, family run specialist manufacturing company who produce unique equipment for specialist clients across the world, in a role full of autonomy, independence and project related design processes?

On offer is a genuinely rare and exciting opportunity to take a step into a unique manufacturing industry and lead a range of exciting manufacturing, design, engineering and layout/machine design project. In this role you will be responsible for aspects of 3D Systems Layout Design, design process flow, conceptual design and actively collaborating with other teams across the business.

This company are blue-chip manufacturers of bespoke industrial machinery and have had a global impact for well over half a century. This family-run company heavily invest into their employee's through training and internal career progression and recognise each individuals achievements. Due to growth of the company and internal promotions, this company are looking for a CAD Designer to work directly with the Design and Development Team to drive the design project forward.

This role would suit anyone a self-starting CAD Designer, Design Engineer or Project Engineer from a manufacturing, construction, building interface or engineering background that wants to work with teams across a business to further develop design projects, design management and oversee a range of excited engineering and technical projects

The Role:
*CAD Designer
*Working as part of the Project Engineering team integrating machinery design with layouts and elevations
*Using primarily Inventor & AutoCAD
*Independent and team based project work

The Person:
*Experience with 3D & 2D design, layouts, elevations, conceptual design and design management
*From a manufacturing, construction, building interface or engineering background
*Previously used Inventor / AutoCAD
