Description:
Job title: Cad Designer
Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday
Main duties
* Produce CAD designs for curtain-wall systems using Technal and Schuco systems, commercial glazing and cladding systems.
* Designs to be used as the basis for pricing, scheduling, programming and project management.
* Designs to include detail, elevation and location.
* Attend design meetings with external client.
* Liaise with structural engineers.
* Issue RFI schedules.
* Produce design reports.
* Prepare schedule of materials required against the design.
* Work with Contracts, Project and Site managers to ensure production and delivery of design and associated information on time as required.
Qualifications
* Autocad proficient
* CAD Design Qualification
Relevant experience
* Tech Design and / or Schucal System proficiency
* Scheduling
* Skilled in the production of detailed design in the curtain-wall, glazing or façade industry
