Job Description
Role Summary: In this critical role, you will be responsible for modifying the PDMS 3D-Model of nuclear plants to reflect significant site changes. You will work on diverse disciplines such as components, equipment, civil structures, and more, ensuring consistent, accurate, and effective modelling. This position is based in our Bristol office and offers a permanent contract with significant opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities:
Perform detailed 2D and 3D modelling to support the Layout team and respond to site queries.
Analyze and provide technical justification for site requests, liaising with engineering back-offices to assess impacts on design.
Conduct 2D-3D checks and contribute to technical documentation to support construction.
Maintain effective communication with both upstream and downstream team members to ensure seamless information exchange.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Proven design office experience with expertise in pipework, electricity, HVAC, or civil engineering.
Experience with 3D CAD SoftwareDesirable:
Experience in plant layout engineering.
Previous experience in the nuclear industry or related fields such as nuclear decommissioning or environmental engineering.
