Cable Jointer
Your future employer is looking for a Cable jointer to join their ICP business who focus on the installation and maintenance of LV and HV Infrastructure. As a Cable Jointer, you would be working for an established yet expanding company on Residential, Industrial and commercial new build projects along with fault response across the UK, with the opportunity to progress and further develop your skills!
The responsibilities of a Cable Jointer:
* Install and commission Electrical Infrastructure as instructed, Live HV and LV networks, carrying out jointing, cabling on pre-planned work
* Ensuring that all work is undertaken to a high standard of safety and technical quality by following all appropriate generic and specific method statements, work procedures and safety instructions
* Accept delivery of plant and materials
* Ensure vehicles, equipment remain in good condition
* Record accurately details of work undertaken
* Identify and understand utility plans
* Manual Handling
Requirements:
* Fully qualified LV/HV cable jointer up to 11kv
* DNO/IDNO Authorisation
* Full UK Drivers Licence
* Tickets such as SHEA Power
* City and Guilds Level 3
* Willingness to be on standby/call out rota
What this is offering:
* Paying between £47,000 - £52,000 per annum
* Monday to Friday, 45 hours a week
