Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner required
Our client is a specialist UK manufacturer with over 20 years' experience designing and producing bespoke products for the construction sector. Due to continued growth and the expansion of a new furniture range, they are looking to recruit a skilled Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner to join their production team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual with a background in manufacturing or production joinery rather than traditional site carpentry. The successful candidate will be involved in the manufacture of high-quality furniture products from technical drawings through to final assembly, working closely with design and production teams.

Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner Position Overview

Manufacture bespoke and batch-produced wooden furniture to a high standard.
Interpret technical drawings and production specifications.
Work from CAD drawings and liaise with design teams where required.
Operate a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Assemble, fit and finish furniture products ensuring excellent quality standards.
Assist with prototype development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Work closely with production colleagues to ensure projects are delivered on time.
Support quality control processes and ensure products meet customer specifications.
Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner Position Requirements

Previous experience as a Cabinet Maker, Bench Joiner, Furniture Maker or similar.
Background within a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical and manufacturing drawings.
Experience working with CAD drawings; knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software would be advantageous.
Good understanding of woodworking machinery and production processes.
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Positive and proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
Full UK driving licence advantageous but not essential.
Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner Position Remuneration

£35,000 - £40,000 dependent upon experience.
Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
Overtime available.
28 days holiday including bank holidays.
