Pay Rate: £12.71 - £14.44 per hour (dependent on skill and experience)
Start Date: 1st June
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM - 5:45 PM
Job Description
We are currently recruiting a Cab Shop Operative to join a busy caravan manufacturing site based in East Hull. This is a hands-on role within the cab shop area, supporting the production and assembly of caravan cabs to a high standard. Full PPE suits are provided to ensure safety and comfort while on site.
Key Responsibilities
Working within the cab shop area on caravan manufacturing
Assisting with assembly, preparation, and fitting of cab components
Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
Preparing materials and work areas for production tasks
Supporting skilled operatives where required
Carrying out manual handling duties in line with H&S guidelines
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures at all times
Working as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines
Requirements
Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or cab shop environments preferred
Ability to use hand tools and follow instructions accurately
Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Able to work effectively as part of a team
Willingness to learn and develop skills
