C# Software Developer
My client is seeking to appoint a confident, experienced Senior Software Developer.
The Role
Working as part of a small development team, you will gain enhanced knowledge of their platform through the maintenance and enhancement of the solution. This solution is based around multiple platforms including a cloud based back-office server with web front end, communicating with 3rd Party systems and a remote Android mobile application. The solution is written in C# and interacts with SQL databases.
This position requires a business and commercial awareness as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills as you will be customer facing. You must be used to seeing a project through to its conclusion with minimal supervision and must be a self-starter with a positive "can-do" attitude within this demanding environment.
The development team is based in Manchester, however the position may also require occasional travel.
The Candidate
The candidate must have the ability to problem solve both independently and as part of a team and have the confident technical knowledge to be able to support and enhance a solution. The candidate must have industry proven experience of:

C#
Cloud based solutions, especially Microsoft Azure
SQL Server, database design and implementation, including Azure
Integration with third parties through published APIs, and the development of robust APIs.
Integration with remote devices (Android) utilising database synchronisation methods and notification services (such as SignalR).
UI development skills.
Knowledge of the full development cycle from specification, design, coding, configuration management, prototyping, testing, documentation, and installation
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
Source control management (Git)It would be an advantage if the candidate could also show skills in the following areas:

Being able to communicate with key stake holders on progress of issues and tasks and providing accurate timescales.
Customer-facing skills, dealing directly with clients representing the company in email or face-to-face communications.
Using MDM (Mobile Device Management) to help remotely investigate and resolve issues the deploy version updates to devices.
Passport and driving licence with own transport.Benefits:
