Description:

Hales Group are seeking a Buyer to support our client with the purchase of goods and services in Lowestoft initially for 3 months.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within a similar role ideally within the Marine / Oil & Gas / Engineering sector.
 
Duties will include:

Ensuring goods and services are purchased at competitive prices
Sourcing suppliers
Ensure you meet the companies framework agreements whenever possible
Sending RFQ’s for goods and services
Summarising and analysing quotations
Creating Purchase orders
Expediting Purchase orders, keeping requestors advised of delivery issues
Liaising with engineering superintendents and other internal customers The successful buyer will have demonstrable experience of the following:

The ideal candidate will have experience working within a similar role ideally within the Marine / Oil & Gas / Engineering sector.
Ability to work on own initiative or part of a team
Ability to work well under pressure
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in use of Microsoft Excel applications  
LOCATION: Lowestoft
HOURS: Monday to Friday ( 40 hours per week)
DURATION: 3 month FTC
PAY: £14.42 per hour
