Description:
Manage & liaise with current suppliers. Being responsible for placing orders and managing the processes. Supporting operational supply chain using MRP System.
Responsibilities:
Purchasing of materials.
Preparation of supply chain documentation & quotations.
Supporting the Senior Buyer in selecting suppliers.
Daily review of MRP Systems.
Develop and manage vendor relationships with the objective of developing Quality, Cost & Delivery performance.
Raise Purchase Orders in line with production requirements.Professional Skills/Abilities:
Good communication skills with people at all levels
Computer literacy - good knowledge of Excel & Word essential and Access preferable
A working knowledge and use of ERP and MRP for BOM, scheduling, forecast analysis, and capacity planning.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
