Description:
We are working with our client who are an established CNC Manufacturing business in the search for a materials buyer on a permanent basis. It will be your primary responobility to work within the procurement department purchasing materials and utilising the MRP system.
Responsibilities
* Buy raw materials in line with production demands
* Maintain purchase order status and chase lead times
* Maintain current stock levels
* Negotiate with suppliers
* Market research new supplies
* Work to KPI's
* Assist with NCR's
* Deal with invoices and queries
Requirements
* Experienced buyer working with materials from manufacturing/engineering background
* Able to negotiate with suppliers
* Competent on the phone and with IT
* Experience with MRP/ERP systems
