Description:

We are recruiting for a Buyer to join a growing organisation in Haddenham. This Buyer role offers the opportunity to support a busy procurement function, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure goods and services are sourced efficiently and delivered on time.

Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm, based in Haddenham. This position is offering £32,000 to £38,000 per annum.

Duties:

* Manage supplier onboarding and maintain supplier accreditation records.

* Raise, process and manage purchase orders across the business.

* Source pricing, availability and lead times from suppliers.

* Liaise with suppliers regarding quotations, deliveries and purchasing queries.

* Work closely with internal departments to support purchasing requirements.

* Process GRPOs and resolve invoice queries.

* Monitor outstanding purchase orders and follow up where required.

* Support import activity, freight arrangements and customs administration.

* Research alternative products and suppliers whilst maintaining accurate records.

Experience:

* Previous experience in a Buyer, procurement, purchasing or supply chain role.

* CIPS Level 3 qualification, or willingness to work towards further qualifications.

* Supplier management experience.

* Understanding of purchase order processing, GRPOs and supplier documentation.

* Experience with imports, exports, freight, customs clearance or Incoterms would be advantageous.

* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

* Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
