The below job description will outline this position of: Buyer
Typically, this person will responsible for the purchasing of goods and services, whilst maintaining daily contact with colleagues and management in both offices and crews, clients and suppliers.
HSB Technical’s client is a very established and well-regarded business entity.
Duties and responsibilities of the Buyer:
• Creating purchase orders and expediting them when required.
• Analyse and summarise quotes.
• Enter receipts for purchase orders.
• Arrange supplier returns when necessary
• Using company purchasing system Sertica and maintain its records to ensure PO's are receipted and closed down in a timely fashion
Qualifications and requirement for the Buyer:
• Experience using a procurement ERP system.
• Procurement background with experience in either the Marine/Oil&Gas/Engineering Sector being ideal
• Able to use Microsoft excel applications
• Business studies and or CIPS qualification are preferential.
