Building and developing strong supplier relationships to improve service, quality and delivery performance.
Negotiating pricing, terms and cost-saving initiatives.
Managing both direct and indirect procurement activities.
Supporting inventory planning to balance material availability with stock control objectives. About You - Buyer
We are keen to speak with buyers who have experience within a manufacturing environment and can demonstrate strong commercial awareness and supplier management skills.

Ideally, you will have:

Previous purchasing or procurement experience within manufacturing.
Experience buying mechanical components (sheet metal), with electrical components experience also highly desirable.
Experience managing supplier relationships, negotiations and performance.
Experience using MRP/ERP systems
The ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders across multiple departments. A proactive and organised approach with excellent attention to detail.
