Description
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
Lead large scale commercial pricing projects
Be a part of creating and developing long term strategies for specific categories within the business
Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for procurement improvements.
Review contracts and terms with supply base
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate records and reports on procurement activities.Profile
A successful Buyer should have:
Experience in procurement/purchasing at a strategic level
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
Knowledge of procurement processes and policies.
Proficiency in using relevant software and tools.
