Job Title; Buyer
Salary; Circa £35,000 to £38,000 per annum, depending on experience
Shift Pattern; 8:30am - 17:30pm Monday to Friday
Location; Rutland
Our client, a fast growing manufacturer based in Rutland, is seeking a Buyer. The Buyer will be responsible for all production and non-production operational purchasing activity. The individual applying for this position should have a keen eye for detail, be self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative.

The Buyer Role;
* Source new suppliers and placing production orders
* Ordering of non-production items
* Supporting Purchasing Manager
* Purchasing administrative duties
* Benchmarking suppliers
* Create Purchase Orders on SAP system
* Expedite Purchase Orders with suppliers
* Schedule Purchase Orders in line with current demand
* Booking goods received onto SAP
* Maintaining non-stock items stock levels
* Any other reasonable tasks deemed appropriate
The Buyer Candidate;
* Previous, recent experience as a Buyer ideally in the manufacturing sector
* Have experience of SAP
* Be able to work unsupervised and meet set deadlines
* Good communication skills
* IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel and Word in particular
* Be methodical and ensure Procurement procedures for the Company are adhered to and enforced on all levels
* Well-organised and focussed
* Good interpersonal skills
