Salary: From £35,000 to £40,000 per annum. Bonus Negotiable.

Ideal Candidate
* Manage the day-to-day operations of a busy butchers, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Lead and motivate a team of butchers and support staff to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
* Utilise your expertise in whole animal butchery to ensure the efficient processing of meat products and minimise waste.
* Maintain high standards of food hygiene and sanitation, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with marketing to develop promotions, displays, and marketing strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
The Role – Key Responsibilities
* Proven experience in whole animal butchery, with a strong understanding of meat processing techniques and cuts.
* Previous experience in a supervisory or management role, with demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers, clients and team members.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
* Flexible availability, willing to work every Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, with Friday and Saturday as days off.
* Lead by example embodying the client’s values and commitment to excellence
* Manage a diverse team to our clients exceptional standards of customer service and product quality.
* Stock management, ordering and control of goods in.
* Understanding in negotiations and getting the best quality at the best prices.
